About
Catherine Green — B.A., RMT, BCST
I have been blessed with a strong body and good health. Throughout my youth I enjoyed sport, dance and theatre. Nothing could stop me from moving and enjoying the physicality of life.
In my teen years I suffered some debilitating accidents and by the time I was thirty those injuries caught up with me. For the better part of a decade I was plagued by pain and movement restrictions. I explored many different soft tissue manual therapies which all held the viewpoint of fixing what was wrong.
I became a Pilates instructor because I learned that self empowerment and body awareness was key. I became a Registered Massage Therapist because it had helped me manage my pain. But it was only after I discovered BCST that I realized that I could truly heal.

I am a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners Canada (NHPC) and the Pacific Association of Craniosacral Therapists (PACT).
BCST is the only therapy I have come across that connects first and foremost with the health of the body — not what is wrong with me but what is right. That alone is pretty radical. Moreover, it encompasses the whole of me, not solely my muscles or my bones or my alignment. BCST encompasses all of that and more; it can hold all the forces that have shaped me and live in me in the present moment. Whatever comes up during a treatment — thought, emotion, physical pain — is all part of the healing process.
For decades I had been interested in how the body moves through life. Now I am interested in how the body moves into stillness, because that is where the healing is.
BCST is truly a remarkable therapy.
